Who We Are
TheSafeguardingCop is a UK-based safeguarding consultancy led by an experienced safeguarding professional with a background in policing, healthcare and social care. We provide specialist safeguarding consultancy services, including safeguarding audits, safeguarding training and safeguarding supervision, to help organisations manage risk and protect vulnerable individuals.
Our approach combines practical experience with a strong understanding of safeguarding compliance, ensuring organisations are equipped to respond effectively to safeguarding challenges.

Marie has been working in safeguarding for over 25 years and has an incredibly diverse background and experience. She holds a uniquely exclusive position as the only professional with proven safeguarding experience across all three key statutory agencies — Health, Police, and Social Care. Marie is therefore an accomplished Safeguarding Professional with expert knowledge and skills. She has an incomparable perspective and specialist understanding of multi-agency safeguarding, which she uses to create innovative and relevant safeguarding solutions for your organisation.
Marie has worked across all sectors at both operational and strategic levels and she is affiliated with many national organisations.
Marie is an accomplished writer, having produced industry-leading guidance, whitepapers and articles, for organisations across different sectors. She is also a confident key note speaker who regularly presents at local and national events.
