TheSafeguardingCop Ltd is a UK-based safeguarding consultancy led by Marie Williams, whose professional background spans nursing, policing and public protection, social care, local-authority safeguarding and corporate safeguarding risk.
That experience connects the realities of frontline decisions with the responsibilities of organisational leadership. Marie leads the client relationship, drawing on trusted specialist colleagues where their expertise strengthens the work.

Marie has been working in safeguarding for over 25 years and has an incredibly diverse background and experience. She holds a uniquely exclusive position as a professional with proven safeguarding experience across all three key statutory agencies — Health, Police, and Social Care. Marie is therefore an accomplished Safeguarding Professional with expert knowledge and skills. She has an incomparable perspective and specialist understanding of multi-agency safeguarding, which she uses to create innovative and relevant safeguarding solutions for your organisation.
Marie has worked across all sectors at both operational and strategic levels and she is affiliated with many national organisations.
Marie is an accomplished writer, having produced industry-leading guidance, whitepapers and articles, for organisations across different sectors. She is also a confident key note speaker who regularly presents at local and national events.
